An oversized men’s stole woven in a natural blend of Merino wool and rayon. Perfect for wearing at the height of winter, or for outings to the mountains for winter sports. Very soft and comfortable, it would also be perfect for women going for a more relaxed look. You will also appreciate its careful finishing work: large fringes (about 6-7cm) at the ends and a fine hem along the lengths. This would be perfect as a special, French-made gift for Christmas or a birthday.
INSPIRATION

The inspiration for this scarf was the city of Philadelphia, which has a rich history and yet today is nevertheless a modern city full of skyscrapers. The design depicts several silhouettes of its buildings, along with a glimpse of the two great metropolises that neighbor it, New York City and Washington, DC. A very discrete design, stylized with pencil strokes. Its very earthy and masculine color scheme of grey, rust and off-white adds an extra touch of sophistication.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

This stole would be perfect for wearing over a formal coat with the fringes tucked in for a classic urban look. You can also wear it over a shirt or over a parka with the fringes out for a more sporty, relaxed look. It could be paired with many different colors, including gray, marine blue, black, or with brown colors.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

How should you wash a wool and rayon stole? We advise washing by hand using a detergent specifically made for natural materials. Do not let it soak for too long. To dry, put the stole in a towel, without twisting it. Lay it flat to dry and iron on high heat using the vapor function to restore the properties of the natural materials. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The entirety of our Jacquard loom workshop is a modern iteration of the loom developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards. Thanks to technological developments over time, our looms are now managed electronically to allow scarves to be made faster and with a higher level of quality than was possible before. We follow the latest developments in technological progress to remain at the forefront of progress. We created this scarf in the purest tradition of Lyon Jacquard weaving, with a perfect result thanks to the knowledge passed down to us from generation to generation since 1880.
