A very large stole made of natural materials: Merino wool, silk and cotton. A luxurious composition bringing you warmth, softness, and comfort (Merino wool does not itch). The color scheme is refined in red, burgundy and corail. Impeccable finishes with small 2/3 cm fringes at the base and a thin hem along the lengths. An original design by La Fabrique d'écharpe to give as a gift for Christmas or a birthday.
INSPIRATION

A floral-inspired pattern is placed in a frame and consists of fascinating foliage with zebra effects. The particular way the threads have been interwoven adds a lot of texture while providing softness and softness. The color scheme features gentle hues moving from red to burgundy on a soft coral background. A very creative Jacquard design with an elegant chic look.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

This oversized stole can be worn as a shawl over your shoulders or as a scarf around your neck for a very voluminous effect and to deal with extreme cold. Can be easily paired with a burgundy jacket, a beige coat, or a gray raincoat. For mid-season, you can wear it over a suit and in the evening over a dress for going out. It gives a sophisticated and couture touch to your look.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To wash this wool scarf, we recommend hand washing. Do not let your scarf soak for too long, put it in a towel to soak up excess water but do not wring it, then lay it flat to dry. Iron on high heat with steam to restore all the fluffiness and softness of the scarf’s natural materials. While you may not put it in the dryer, you may take it in for dry cleaning.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The shaped weaving technique, known as the Jacquard method, used to make this scarf involves the interlacing of warp and weft threads according to a specific pattern. To do this, the weaving workshop of La Fabrique d'écharpe has its own Jacquard looms. The Jacquard loom is a weaving loom developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, the first programmable mechanical system with punched cards to produce patterns by interweaving colored threads. Thanks to the know-how passed down from generation to generation in our family since 1880, we now have electronic Jacquard looms with digital controls that guarantee a perfect quality for our fabrics while respecting the most authentic Lyon traditions.
