Inspired by geological formations, we conceived the design as a layering of the various layers of stone on old rock formations. This makes for an effect of irregular, fragmented stripes and different colors that almost appear to be random. Our stylist chose to blend different wools of varying weights to maximize the visibility of the design of the weaving pattern and to create more voluminous fringes. The color scheme remains nonetheless warms, consisting of red, rusty, orange and marine, which together illuminate the entire piece.
