NAVY, COTTON BLEND SCARF - SPIRIT

The creation of this pattern is inspired by intertwined strands like horsehair. Monochrome sections are placed in the middle of the scarf. A very masculine design, featuring marine and beige, adds a chic twist to your outfit.

Easy to pair with outfits of almost any season, this marine color paired with a beige can also be worn with gray suits, navy, black or green jackets and even just a shirt in mid-season.

For the maintenance of this men’s scarf, we recommend washing by hand with a regular detergent. Dry the scarf by putting it in a towel for a few moments to soak up excess moisture (but do not wring it out) before hanging it up to dry fully. Ironing should be done on the reverse side with a hot iron and steam to restore all the properties of the natural fibres. While you may not put it in the dryer, you may take it in for dry cleaning.

The shaped weaving technique, known as the Jacquard method, used to make this scarf involves the interlacing of warp and weft threads according to a specific pattern. To do this, the weaving workshop of La Fabrique d'écharpe has its own Jacquard looms. The Jacquard loom is a weaving loom developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, the first programmable mechanical system with punched cards to produce patterns by interweaving colored threads. Thanks to the know-how passed down from generation to generation in our family since 1880, we now have electronic Jacquard looms with digital controls that guarantee a perfect quality for our fabrics while respecting the most authentic Lyon traditions.
