A men’s scarf woven with an optical illusion of being monochrome. Our special blend of wool and rayon gives the scarf a special softness and comfort that will be perfect when the cold of winter begins to hit. Our Tweed scarf’s style is timeless and easy to pair with most men’s clothing. We finished the scarf off with monochrome stripes along the edges of the length of the scarf and large fringes at the ends, so as to add a touch of modernity and creativity to this classic design. Perfect to give as a gift for any occasion.
INSPIRATION

Just as its name indicates, we based this scarf on the traditional tweed pattern. True tweed is a fabric made from carded wool, which is flexible and resembles hand-woven fabric. While its origins lie in Ireland and the highlands of Scotland, where farmers wore it to protect themselves from the humid cold, it nevertheless transformed over the centuries little by little to become a very fashionable trend today all over the world, and is regularly worn by many celebrities.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

Being both fashionable and classic, our Tweed scarf can be worn with a wide variety of men’s outfits. The dominating color scheme of navy blue allows it to be paired with green, gray, brown, and blue clothing. Almost anything is possible with this scarf. You can wear it with the fringes showing for a more relaxed, sporty look, or you can tuck them into your jacket or coat for a more refined look.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To wash a wool-based scarf, we advise washing by hand with a detergent meant for wool. Use tepid water, as wool does not tolerate high temperatures. Do not let it soak for too long. To dry, put the scarf in a towel to soak up the excess water, but do not wring it out or twist it. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. It must be ironed on high using the vapor function to restore the natural properties of the scarf’s fibers. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The weaving technique to make this scarf is an interweaving of silk warp threads with Merino wool weft threads following a specific pattern. To do this, we use Jacquard looms. The Jacquard method is a weaving method developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design. Over time, our looms evolved and are now controlled electronically to allow for them to be produced with greater speed and at a much higher quality and precision than before. We keep up with the latest developments to make sure that our equipment is at the forefront of innovation in order to offer you the best quality fabrics and scarves. We created this scarf in the purest Jacquard weaving tradition, with a perfect result thanks to the savoir-faire passed down to us from generation to generation since 1880.
