This beautifully-made, luminous, colorful scarf is for both men and women. The pairing of cotton and silk ensures the scarf is made up primarily of natural materials, while the addition of rayon makes it softer and more comfortable. To be worn in spring and summer! This fashion accessory is produced entirely at our workshop in Lyon, France in the purest tradition of Jacquard weaving.
INSPIRATION

The interplay between stripes and camouflage inspired motifs spread out along the length of the scarf gives a certain relaxed elegance to this cheich-style woven scarf. The stripes are in a regular pattern and give a very summery look while the camouflage is transparently superimposed over the stripes. A variety of different colors are joined together, including blue, pink, green, violet and turquoise with purple remaining the dominant color, reminiscent of all colors of nature.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

A small scarf perfect for accessorizing outfits in any season, but especially spring and summer outfits, and for when you want to add a touch of elegance to a relaxed chic look. We would also recommend wearing it with a monochrome outfit, to emphasize the scarf’s deep, complex patterns. To be worn in a cheich style.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To swash a cotton, rayon, and silk blend scarf, we advise washing by hand, or alternatively, in the washing machine on a delicate setting. Iron on low heat using the vapor function to protect the natural properties of the fibers that make up the scarf. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The weaving method used to make this scarf, known as the Jacquard method, involves the interweaving of a rayon warp thread with a silk and cotton weft thread, using a specific pattern. In order to do this, the Fabrique d’Écharpe weaving atelier uses Jacquard looms. The Jacquard loom was developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design by interweaving different colored threads. Thanks to the artisan weaving knowledge transmitted to us from generation to generation since 1880, today we have electronically controlled looms that allow for the scarf to be produced with impeccable quality all while respecting the purest methods of traditional Lyon Jacquard weaving.
