A very beautiful women’s scarf made of all natural materials with an incomparably soft feel to the touch. The Jacquard woven design includes stylized flower and a large herringbone patter to create a unique style blending modernity and tradition. Large stripes in neutral tones like marine, blue and turquoise underlay the design and accentuate the scarf’s impression of depth. Exceptional quality and 100% made in our workshop in Lyon, France. Perfect as a gift!
INSPIRATION

This scarf’s design blends together stylized flowers and foliage with herringbone geometric designs and Art Nouveau inspired mosaics, each piece being interlaid with the other for a surprising and original effect. The scarf is divided into five bands of color in tones of blue, turquoise and marine.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

The scarf’s classic color palette allows for it to be paired in a myriad of different outfits. You can use it to accessorize off-white, blue, brown, or beige colored outfits. Almost any color will go with this scarf! To maintain the scarf’s classic style, pair it with a black coat, a grey jacket, or an anthracite outfit, all of which are absolutely perfect fits.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To swash a scarf made of all natural materials, we advise washing by hand with a detergent made specifically for low temperature washing. Do not let it soak for too long. The scarf can be dried in a cotton towel before putting on a hanger. Iron on high heat with vapor to preserve the volume of the natural fibers. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The weaving method used to make this scarf, known as the Jacquard method, involves the interweaving of a silk warp thread with a wool, cotton, and silk weft thread, using a specific pattern. In order to do this, the Fabrique d’Écharpe weaving atelier uses Jacquard looms. The Jacquard loom was developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design by interweaving different colored threads. Thanks to the artisan weaving knowledge transmitted to us from generation to generation since 1880, today we have electronically controlled looms that allow for the scarf to be produced with impeccable quality all while respecting the purest methods of traditional Lyon Jacquard weaving.
