To wash both the printed silk scarf and the plain silk scarf, we recommend hand-washing and ironing while still damp, using a hot iron without steam. The natural properties of the silk will be preserved. Tumble-drying is forbidden, but dry-cleaning is permitted.

The silk dyeing technique used for the plain scarf is the “barque à tourniquet” technique. This ancestral technique, specially developed for light and delicate silk fabrics, requires little tension and very limited mechanical effort, giving the muslin excellent relaxation. The fabrics are then fixed and washed for colorfastness, strength and optimum feel. For the second scarf, the silk is printed using high quality digital inkjet printing, which guarantees high print definition, optimum throughput and maximum respect for the silk muslin.
