A large, beautiful stole made of natural materials and extra soft to cover yourself during the winter cold, and to complete your outfits in a most elegant way. The color scheme is based on three hues: navy blue, blue jean's, and purple, which proliferate along the length of this large scarf. The design consists of a large stylized flower on each color which comprises the stole.
INSPIRATION

This stole is Art Deco inspired, which was an artistic movement that began in the 1910’s and reached its height in the 1920’s. The term “Art Deco” is short for “Decorative arts,” and it first began as a movement in architecture, then began to be used in interior design, and now in fashion. In line with Art Deco principles, the design of this stole is symmetrical and particularly harmonious in its use of color and design. The forms we used are simplified, geometric, and sultry.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

Large-sized and playing on navy, blue and purple hues, this stole is perfect for pairing with your fall and winter outfits. A marine blue pantsuit, a beige overcoat, a leather jacket, or a khaki green blouse are all good examples of clothes that would pair magnificently with this stole, which is suitable both for daily wear and to add a touch of elegance to an evening outfit.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

We advise washing this scarf by hand with a detergent especially made for natural materials. Do not let it soak too long, as it is made of wool. To rinse your scarf, put it in between two towels without twisting it. To dry, lay it flat and iron it on a high setting using your iron’s vapor feature in order to protect all the properties of the natural materials that make up the scarf. While you cannot put it in the dryer, you may take it to the dry cleaner.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The Jacquard method is a weaving technique developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design. Thanks to technological advancements over time, our looms are now electronically controlled via very efficient software that allows the scarf to be produced quicker and with a higher level of quality than before. We created this scarf in the purest tradition of Jacquard weaving, resulting in a perfect product thanks to our savoir-faire passed down from generation to generation since 1880. This scarf is woven with a black silk warp. The ends of the scarf consist of small, discrete 2cm fringes which are also black. With a hem along the length of the scarf, the finish is truly exceptional.
