This scarf provides an exceptional level of comfort with its blend of Merino wool, rayon, cotton, and silk, a truly innovative mix of natural materials that creates an ultra-soft feel that will remind you of cashmere. With perfect dimensions, something between a scarf and a stole, the possibilities to accessorize with this piece are almost endless. This women’s scarf is suited for everyday wear, either to the office or on a special weekend trip. This scarf was designed, woven, and finished entirely in our workshop in Lyon, France.
INSPIRATION

The Vienna design behind this scarf is based on large stylized flowers. The end result is a discrete, subtle design which accentuates the scarf’s unique color scheme and allows it to be paired with a wide variety of clothes and outfits. While being luminous, the classic and lilachues pair perfectly with marine blue, grey, or purple colored clothing.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

The subtle motifs on the scarf make it almost luminously monochrome in appearance. Since the design is so subtle, it can be worn with both winter and mid-season clothes. While being very luminous, the classic pink and lilac hues pair perfectly with marine blue, grey, or chestnut colored clothing. You can wear it outside with a coat or blouse, or inside with a dress or jacket. This scarf completes any chic, elegant outfit while also adding that extra something to a more relaxed look.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To wash this delicate scarf, which is primarily comprised of wool, we recommend hand washing. Use detergent specifically for wool and tepid water. To rinse, do not twist the scarf but rather put it on a towel for a bit before laying it flat to dry. Iron it on a low setting, using your iron’s vapor function so as to protect the properties of the natural materials the scarf is made of. While you cannot put it in the dryer, you can take it to the dry cleaner’s.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The Jacquard loom is a weaving loom that was created by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design. Thanks to technological advancements over time, our looms are now electronically controlled via very efficient software that allows the scarf to be produced quicker and with a higher level of quality than before. Our collection of looms are at the forefront of technological innovation. We realized this scarf in the purest tradition of Jacquard weaving, resulting in a perfect product thanks to our savoir-faire passed down from generation to generation since 1880. This scarf is woven with a black silk warp. The base of the scarf is seen in the discrete small 2cm fringes at the ends, which are also black. With a hem on all sides, the finish is truly remarkable.
