An exceptionally beautiful women’s scarf made of 100% natural materials. This luxury fashion accessory is made with a particular blend of cotton and silk that is extremely soft and creates a slightly satiny effect. The design consists of oversized flower and is realized in a very original green color scheme. Very careful finishing work with 3cm colored fringes. Jacquard woven scarf 100% made in Lyon, France. Perfect as a birthday gift!
INSPIRATION

This design is inspired by soft drawings of flowers with soft edges and shaded petals, adding a soft charm to the scarf. The flowers are drawn in oversize proportions in this particular piece. We used a pastel green and khaki color scheme to create contrast.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

This floral motif realized in khaki can be used to accentuate a large number of pieces in your wardrobe, for example: a marine blue or dark grey coat, a denim jacket, or a green parka. This large scarf adds an elegant touch to your look.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To swash a scarf made of all natural materials, we advise washing by hand with a detergent made specifically for low temperature washing. Do not let it soak for too long. The scarf can be dried in a cotton towel before putting on a hanger. Iron on high heat with vapor to preserve the volume of the natural fibers. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The weaving method used to make this scarf, known as the Jacquard method, involves the interweaving of a silk warp thread with a cotton weft thread, using a specific pattern. In order to do this, the Fabrique d’Écharpe weaving atelier uses Jacquard looms. The Jacquard loom was developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design by interweaving different colored threads. Thanks to the artisan weaving knowledge transmitted to us from generation to generation since 1880, today we have electronically controlled looms that allow for the scarf to be produced with impeccable quality all while respecting the purest methods of traditional Lyon Jacquard weaving.
