This luxurious scarf combines the nobility of two of the most beautiful and high quality weaving materials: silk and cashmere. Cashmere is the finest and softest will in the world. Woven using the Jacquard method together with silk, it is truly a unique mix that will please anyone who loves elegance. The design consisting of large stylized flowers in a classic khaki green and beige color scheme would be ideal for adding a sophisticated, ultra chic look to your outfit. A high end fashion accessory that makes for a special gift, being entirely designed and made in Lyon, France.
INSPIRATION

Inspired by hand painted watercolor flowers, the design is harmoniously placed on the scarf. The choice of cashmere and silk threads adds a brilliant and matte effect to the fabric, for a very special result. This scarf is truly unique! You will not find anything similar on the market.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

This scarf can be worn over a dress or formal outfit for special events. You will also find it is wonderful over a coat in winter, since it is soft and light-weight all while remaining warm thanks to its blend of cashmere and silk. You can pair it with green, black, chestnut brown, or marine blue outfits. Its subtle brilliance adds a touch of timeless luxury to your outfits.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To swash a cashmere scarf, we advise washing by hand. Soak the scarf in tepid or cold water, using a detergent specifically made for wool. Do not let it soak for too long. To dry, put the scarf in a cotton towel to soak up the excess water, but do not wring it out or twist it. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. You can restore the scarf’s softness and delicate touch by ironing on low heat with the vapor function. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The weaving method used to make this scarf, known as the Jacquard method, involves the interweaving of a silk warp thread with a cashmere weft thread, using a specific pattern. In order to do this, the Fabrique d’Écharpe weaving atelier uses Jacquard looms. The Jacquard loom was developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design by interweaving different colored threads. Thanks to the artisan weaving knowledge transmitted to us from generation to generation since 1880, today we have electronically controlled looms that allow for the scarf to be produced with impeccable quality all while respecting the purest methods of traditional Lyon Jacquard weaving.
