A large women’s scarf made of cashmire, silk and cotton to make for an ultra soft feel to the touch. This scarf manages to be both warm and comfortable while remaining delicate and light. This oversize stole made of original, re-imagined herringbone designs fades, with a grey base and beige reflections added in. This large stole is finished off with small 3 cm fringes containing all the colors used in the scarf at both ends, with the lengths of the scarf being carefully finished in traditional Lyon hems.
INSPIRATION

A stylized universe, playfully and beautiful intertwined with gorgeously primitive, fragmented herringbone patterns. Hues of grey and beige add color and life to the design, with this particular color pattern having been chosen in line with the latest clothing styles.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

To be worn as a scarf during cold snaps, or as a shawl over a formal dress. Its original color palette can make black outfits more dynamic, and also can be paired with subdued khaki, marine blue, or grey overcoats. It would also go well with a leather jacket. This stole with such a unique abstract design adds a classic, chic touch to your personal style.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To wash a wool-based scarf, we advise washing by hand with a detergent meant for delicate fabrics. Use tepid water, as wool does not tolerate high temperatures. Do not let it soak for too long. To dry, put the scarf in a towel to soak up the excess water, but do not wring it out or twist it. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. It must be ironed on low using the vapor function to restore the wool’s volume and softness. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The weaving technique to make this scarf is an interweaving of silk warp threads with Merino wool weft threads following a specific pattern. To do this, we use Jacquard looms. The Jacquard method is a weaving method developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design. Thanks to our artisanal skills passed down from generation to generation since 1880, today we have electronic looms controlled via very efficient software that allows the scarf to be produced quicker and with a higher level of quality than before, all while remaining within the true Lyon tradition.
