A large, very comfortable, warm scarf for winter. Made of Merino wool and rayon to bring an ultra soft touch. Large fringes finish the bases for a chic and relaxed style. The design, made up of multiple friezes in shades of blue, denim and marine, is a Fabrique d’écharpe original.
INSPIRATION

The design is made up of mini geometric patterns worked into folk-inspired decorative friezes. The color scheme is very original and trendy with shades of sky, denim, and a hint of navy for added contrast.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

Very easy to wear, this beautiful soft scarf can be worn over sports outfits for mountain adventures. Very chic paired with a navy blue or brown outfit. The long fringes add a touch of flair to your more reserved outfits.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To swash a scarf made of all natural materials, we advise washing by hand with a detergent made specifically for wool. Do not let it soak for too long. The scarf must be first dried in a cotton towel before, ideally, laying flat to dry, or alternatively on a hanger. Iron on low heat with vapor to preserve the volume of the natural fibers. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The weaving method used to make this scarf, known as the Jacquard method, involves the interweaving of a rayon warp thread with a wool weft thread, using a specific pattern. In order to do this, the Fabrique d’Écharpe weaving atelier uses Jacquard looms. The Jacquard loom was developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design by interweaving different colored threads. Thanks to the artisan weaving knowledge transmitted to us from generation to generation since 1880, today we have electronically controlled looms that allow for the scarf to be produced with impeccable quality all while respecting the purest methods of traditional Lyon Jacquard weaving.
