Stylish and elegant, this men’s scarf is woven in a luminous blend of natural Merino wool and silk. A delicate and refined scarf with a subtle brilliance that creates a very upscale look. A perfect Christmas gift!
INSPIRATION

Glancing at the Metropolis, one imagines skyscrapers, buildings, bay windows, large avenues…all are intertwined in this geometric, linear design which has a great richness in its features. Its color palette, however, is sober with hues of blue and black, which lends it a certain charm and elegance.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

This classic scarf is easy to wear, and is ideal for pairing with jackets, coats, leather jackets, or parkas. The color scheme goes perfectly with gray, black, anthracite, and marine blue. It can also be used to add a touch of elegance to an outfit with jeans.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To swash a wool-based scarf, we advise washing by hand. Soak the scarf in tepid water (be careful as wool does not tolerate extreme temperatures). Use a gentle detergent or a detergent specifically made for wool. Do not let it soak for too long. To dry, put the scarf in a cotton towel to soak up the excess water, but do not wring it out or twist it. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. You can restore the scarf’s softness and delicate touch by ironing on high heat with the vapor function. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The weaving method used to make this scarf, known as the Jacquard method, involves the interweaving of a silk warp thread with a Merino wool weft thread, using a specific pattern. In order to do this, the Fabrique d’Écharpe weaving atelier uses Jacquard looms. The Jacquard loom was developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design by interweaving different colored threads. Thanks to the artisan weaving knowledge transmitted to us from generation to generation since 1880, today we have electronically controlled looms that allow for the scarf to be produced with impeccable quality all while respecting the purest methods of traditional Lyon Jacquard weaving.
