A very comfortable men's scarf made of wool and rayon, perfect for everyday wear. An abstract pattern of lines and stripes colored in shades of brown beige make for a scarf with a timeless style. Ideal for a gift to please your man, 100% made in France.
INSPIRATION

The pattern is inspired by creased, scratched, and stretched sheet metal which create a very masculine design. The color scheme is divided into three parts: a light brown and black base, another in off-white and black, and a beige and black center. While the ensemble remains very original, this shade of beige makes it classic, sober, and easy to match.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

This scarf with abstract patterns and neutral colors can be worn with all your outfits, in all colors. In the city, in the countryside, or in the mountains, you will appreciate it from the very first chills of autumn. A must-have in your wardrobe!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To swash a scarf made of all natural materials, we advise washing by hand with a detergent made specifically for wool. Do not let it soak for too long. The scarf must be first dried in a cotton towel before, ideally, laying flat to dry, or alternatively on a hanger. Iron on low heat with vapor to preserve the volume of the natural fibers. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The weaving method used to make this scarf, known as the Jacquard method, involves the interweaving of a rayon warp thread with a wool weft thread, using a specific pattern. In order to do this, the Fabrique d’Écharpe weaving atelier uses Jacquard looms. The Jacquard loom was developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design by interweaving different colored threads. Thanks to the artisan weaving knowledge transmitted to us from generation to generation since 1880, today we have electronically controlled looms that allow for the scarf to be produced with impeccable quality all while respecting the purest methods of traditional Lyon Jacquard weaving.
